People don't want to be sold things. They want to have that control over what they purchase. With that said, they do want solutions to their problems, they do want to purchase products or services that are going to solve a need (superficial or not), and lastly they want to buy from individuals or brands they can trust and that they like.

 

I write in a way that subconsciously persuades the customer, intriguing them without sounding pushy, salesy or robotic.

Email copy to me isn't about deceiving the user but helping them understand why your product or service is the best for them and how they will benefit.
